A New Job for Abby the Vaulting Horse

If you've been following vaulting in Region IX or New England for a while, you may remember Abby, a pretty bay vaulting horse from Image Vaulters. NEV vaulters borrowed Abby a few times—she could go to the right as smoothly as she could go to the left. Abby even helped one of our vaulters win a trot-level regional championship.

We've learned that Abby has a great new job working in hippotherapy. The Hartford Current  reports she now works at Manewaves in Ellington, Connecticut, where she helps children who have physical disabilities build motor skills and confidence.  Please go to their website if you would like to make a donation to this organization to help support the costs of keeping Abby. For the Love of Pete

Meet Pete. Great Fall's Vaulters generously stepped up and offered us Pete when Hershey was under the weather last weekend at Regionals. Thanks, Great Falls and Jen Williams for your generosity and thanks to Pete for being such a great horse. He worked hard for everyone. Pete won Canter Horse of the competition and he deserved it. : )

Ben from Topaz Vaulters

NEV needed to borrow a walk/trot horse at Regionals last weekend, because our horse came down with a fever. We were very lucky to be able to borrow Ben from Topaz Vaulters. What an awesome horse Ben is—in every respect! He is a true giant—in size and spirit! And he won the Region's Trot Horse award!
